Terms of Use

The Holocaust Center for Humanity (the “Holocaust Center”) is the owner of the literary property rights, copyright and the tangible physical property of the letters, photos, and other items in the Wilsey Collection (the “Collection”). By accessing the Collection, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

 

Permitted Uses: The Holocaust Center welcomes you to make fair use of the Collection as defined by copyright law. Please note that you are responsible for determining whether your use is fair and for responding to any claims that may arise from your use. Also, the Holocaust Center allows educational and other non-commercial uses of the Collection on the following terms:

  • You must cite the author (Dr. David B. Wilsey) and “The Holocaust Center for Humanity (Seattle)”;
  • You may not remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices including attribution information, credits, and notices that are placed in or near the text, images, or data; and
  • You must comply with all terms or restrictions other than copyright (such as trademark, right of publicity, privacy rights, or contractual restrictions) as may otherwise apply to the Collection.

Unauthorized Uses: You may not use the Collection, or any excerpt therefrom, for commercial purposes, including any unauthorized copying, reproduction, circulation, or publication. If you wish to use the Collection for any purpose beyond the permitted uses, such as commercial use or publication (except as may be permitted by fair use under copyright law), you must obtain prior written permission from the Holocaust Center.
