Well, today, I had a GI [illegible deletion]

(barium) series in the Xray Dept by

a Lt Col Goldburg. He’s an ol’

dogmatic, “preconceived-ideaed”,

sonofabitch. For your peace of

mind, nothing much has shown

up on the Xrays—[in other words,

quit worrying as much][2]—BUT

for my peace of mind, it isn’t too

good as regards getting’ the Hell outa

this Europe. Of course (rep) “the”

main, truthful, regulation-fullfilling

point on my side is the hernia

(incisional) factor—why, if it

were just the intestinal obstruction

factor alone, I would [NOT][3] see you for a

minimum of 6 months & maybe

9, 10, or 11 months. Yet, if the Xrays

h today had shown other than (QUOTE)

“fairly normal,” it would be a

big boost to a Z-I Board[4]. Just

to show you how {bitter fed up “desperate” pissed-off}[5] I am—

I almost wished they would

have found a cancer of the cecum

today. So there! [Take it for what it’s

worth—towards showing you my psyche-et al][6].

Again today I did one, whole,

great, big, overtaxing, laborious,

straining anesthetic. My! (rep) “aint”

I essential—“aint” I vital, over

In all seriousness, dearest,

if I could only get some mail

I’d probably not be quite so terrifically

“low.” I just ache to hear about how

you & Terry[7] are. Yet each day is

a null—even 4 days ago, 2 other

who came here c̅[8] me have been

receiving mai[l] both via {the 137^th & direct to APO[9] 513.[10]

And! today I learned a bunch of nit

wit mail clerks had me listed as

being at the 195^th G.H.[11] (past letters will clarify)

even after filling out 6 change-of-

address-cards & 3 personal verbal

statements. This was at the 813^th

Hosp Center, proper. Woe is me! (maybe us).

Which brings up something that

has subconsciously slide into my

bitter-fed up-“desperate”-pissed off

mind in recent days—

FOR Y O U R sake, I almost wish

these past days that the [illegible deletion]

[illegible deletion] back in Denver-days you

would have had sense enough

not to get yourself mix-up

c̅ a shit like me. Lookit what

its cost ya? For heaven’s sake! dont look at

this “in-reverse”—I haven’t even looked ¾s of a time at

any woman in over a year. This all (above) is just a

reflection of how intensely bitter, pissed off, fed up, &

“desperate” I am in recent times. About once a day I

wonder if I really am still as sane as when this

dastardly/bastardly thing called Army started to

brow beat, grovel, shit-on, tear assunder, toy-with,

W A S T E, & “heart-break” one guy called Wilitzski[12] ALONG

WITH lord knows how many thousands

of others. Please, dear, realize that

this is NOT self-pity

but just truthful exposê of what

“Great-God-Dynasty-Army” {tries to do or actually does[13]

to thousands of guys.

My first greatest-day-in-

my-life was a May Twentysixth;

my next biggest will be the

discharge from this rotten den of

Dynasty {Grabbing Hoarding}[14] Inadequates.

[This above “analogy” is not fanciful, glib &

insincere—its T-R-U-E right to

the bottom of my soul. See clearer, how I feel??][15].
