ANOTHER![1] month.
Dearest,
For exactly 3 solid weeks I could have
been writing first {things to “jubilate” you to the sky
AND HOURS LATER
{things to dash you ice cold !
Im glad I’ve been able to keep them off
paper, but oh my! the temptation. BUT—
if ya dont think 63,000 guys are goin’
1% off away from [literal][2] “nuts,” ya gotta
‘nother guess coming. AND for 3 relentless-
groveling-boring in weeks this has gone
on! Hell,! no one will ever have to tell
us what the term “sweating-It-Out” means,
literally! (Honestly, & absoloutely, this 3 weeks has “been” 3 YEARS!)
Anyhooo, dearest, maybe you can
better see why any even half decent letter
I’ve written in the past 3 weeks is a
miricale [sic]—to have been able to write
- I apologize for the “Stinkies” but
nothin’ else is humanly possible.
About all I look foreward to is
“Foreward,” & an Episcopal Chaplain being
around each Sunday. I see by the daily

bulletin that the Service is in a different
place tomorrow on this Post so I imagine
it may be a Chaplain I’ve not seen before.
Say! You never have said too much about
the Rev. Smith—does he grow/“grow”
c̅[3] Time or does Time wear out his welcome?
The “Army {Dynasty Power Allmighty”}[4] still continues
its “game” of busting-the-Hell-outa outfits.
Would you believe it that 24 out of the
original 29 doctors [(not MACs)][5] are no longer c̅ this
outfit! The 127th the same; the 136th, the
134th, & 129th (?) all are “toyed” c̅ in said
same h whole-hog “game.”
(Rep.) Yes, dear, do (QUOTE) “Wait until
cooler weather” to take Terry[6] to Arley Barnes.
Em, I’m darn sorry but I
just gotta quite writing—Ill
drive you crazy & myself crazy writing
like this. You see 99.4% of my entire
24 hrs a day of life revolves around
one specific point, & I just should not
write about that subject for {your sake & my sake.[7]
Thus I just gotta-oughta stop. Yet—
