Dearest,
This is a psychologically bad night for writing
you but maybe the writing [of it][2] will help—
though its so lengthy c̅ minutiae every corner, it
just cant be satisfactory on paper.
The keynote, I guess, is Prussian-Judism
gobbling-grabbing-contorting any & all things to
a personal advantage while I sit on a number of
Christian principles such as “He who humbleth himself
shall be exhaulted”: “Turn the other cheek”: etc. AND—
the so called “High Ups” are too blind, s̅[3] of enough
insight, to see the truth. Sooo, I let it ride along
day after week after month “taking” it. The Bible,
philosophers, etc say I will “win”—at times
(such as this moment) it seems kinda hard to
believe/rationalize/“understand”—but, thus-so,
is very briefly my psyche tonight.
Oh yes—we move again in the next
day or two. more mess; more “rat-rassel”; & [probably][4]
another holocaust which none of us feel we can
stand again so soon. Gosh! The news just seems to
indicate that we shouldn’t have more that one more
holocaust to experience.
Maybe I better rep some things:—(1) The photo
printing paper came through in 15 (or 16) days. (2) You
should [by now][5] have a $25 P.T.A. [6] for 2 $12.50 pair of
summer shoes. (3) I hope my 7-pager letter re: the
Aunt K. mess has arrived as I dont ever feel up to
it again.

Heres just a wee ad-lib paragraph you can
“scream” from the Bis[marck] Capitol tower AND EVERY CAPITOL
top in the U.S. if you wish. [P.S. Maybe such as this adds
unto & onto a guys psyche on such an evening as this][7]. It is
[almost certainly][8] authentically reported by the wife of
one of our Sgts that P.O.W.s in Florida farm fields
refuse via sit down strike to do work because
their coca-cola and cigarette ration wasnt numerically
big enough! R O A R R R R R R R R !
Do you know what American boys in Germany
would have “gotten”—Hell, I dont even need to tell
you cuz you know. You may not know however
that they would never have received a single cig
from the Krauts[9] & most of their Red Cross-given cigs
would have been stolen, in the first place, by Krauts.
AND—one coca-cola has 200 calories per bottle—
more calories than many of our boys ever received as
food in a day (on certain days of their “nightmare-ish” lives).
Millions of us over here ask—yes roar/scream:—
JUST! WHAT! IN! HELL! GOES! ON! OVER! THERE (USA)!
When Im home ask me:- (1) About the personal talk c̅ a
gaunt 4+ yr Scotish prisoner of war who was in our
hosp for a few days & (2) Talking second-hand (∴ quite direct)
to a fellow who had actually seen that torture-murder
camp of the Nazi’s as described in Readers Digest (PS The
executioner’s wife had a passion for lamp shades made of tatooed
skin off human beings so her husband gratified her often—
I imagine it does make attractive lamp shades if the skin
is handled properly—sorta like deer hides, etc).
‘Snuff of morbidity & my psyche—tho there
are at least wee (!) reasons behind it all.
