NEW YEARS DAY 7PM
c̅[1] 7th Army
[Please, dearest, send stamps
every 7-10 days to mail
this Marian-Lorraine
stationary.][2]
My Most Precious,
No letter came today [altho
a pkg from Mrs Green did][3] & it looks as if it
might be just as well, as that mess
called moving seems more imminent
here tonight than in any of my recent
letters. First it seemed likely some days
ago; then it “cooled” a bit; & here again
tonight it seems more imminent than
every [sic] before. We don’t move very far
but the nuiscance/mess is always as
much.
I surely hope that mail contact gets
no worse than the worst times in the
past weeks. Gosh! but my my mood/
my daily life depends so much on
hearing from you & Terrey[4] ← (guess I am hurrying).
Regardless, I so profoundly & so all-of-
me love you Two Most Precious Ones.
My prayers & my Life to you both,
Dave.
