Dachau Concentration Camp

Germany 10 May 45 8PM

Hi, dearest,

Before I forget—today we learned

that the Battle of Germany was divided

into { pre Rhine & past Rhine }[1] & thus Wilitzski’s[2]

outfit gets 2 instead of one battle star

on the Etousa[3] Ribbon. My measly 38

points [which to any officer dont mean a damn][4]

goes to 43. Anyhooo, a guy doesnt look

quit[e] so “naked” & “unworthy” when

the one-star-per-ribbon is paired up.

In last night’s letter I did [not][5] mention

to you that the cheeze-stationary-arrid-

salmon-milk-Ritz ritzie pkg came.

(I did mention it in the Vmail to Dad, though,

which was the second Vmail to him in 2 nights.)

Thanks a lot darlin!

I could really use all the Dairyland

Co’s cheese you can send [YOU FOLKS

KEEP YOUR POINTS][6]. Also, Ill betcha

“Noxema” 2 or 3 more would be right

handy in the Pacific (Ho! ho! would I love

not to use it but smear it on Mr Halls front

sidewalk instead).
